A fireball blazes above Norway during the Taurid meteor shower, which is underway in early November. Fireballs form when especially large bits of debris from a comet or asteroid burn up in Earth’s atmosphere. Some astronomers say that the stream that produces the Taurids could include some rocks the size of boulders or mountains, which could endanger Earth. [Medisilvarus/Wikipedia]
