Mars Rovers Keep on Ticking
(From the September/October 2004 issue of StarDate magazine)

The Spirit and Opportunity rovers continue to study the Martian surface long after completing their primary missions. Spirit was scheduled to climb a small ridge in early October to study exposed bedrock that might show evidence of water in the distant past. Opportunity is studying similar outcrops inside Endurance crater. Opportunity snapped this 360- degree view of the crater on July 17.
