Saturnian Iceball
The icy moon Enceladus swings in front of Saturn's rings in this November 30 image from the Cassini spacecraft. Enceladus is the most reflective body in the solar system, with almost 100 percent of the sunlight that strikes it reflecting back into space. Its surface is coated with ice, some of which is replenished by "geysers" of water shooting into space from near its south pole. The image was snapped at a distance of about 28,500 miles (45,900 km).
